Marusa Cernjul was named the Big Ten Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, following a career-best performance over the weekend.

The Nebraska track and field team captured both the men's and women's titles in the scored Mark Colligan Memorial on Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track. Nebraska garnered 23 event titles in sweeping the event.

Prior to hosting the Mark Colligan Memorial on Saturday, members of the Nebraska track and field team took part in the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational on Friday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track.

On Friday, the Huskers will compete in the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational, beginning at 11:30 a.m. On Saturday, NU hosts a scored meet - the Mark Colligan Memorial - with Wichita State and Oral Roberts.

The Nebraska men's track and field team received national recognition on Monday as they were ranked as the No. 5 men's indoor collegiate dual-meet team by Track and Field News.

The Nebraska track and field team concluded the Holiday Inn Invitational with nine more individual titles on Saturday before 1,936 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track.
