Midland Hosts Annual Half Marathon; Qualify Four for Nationals

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University hosted the 2018 Midland Half Marathon this past Sunday in blustery conditions of snow and wind. The field consisted of 17 total runners to begin the nearly 13 mile race between Fremont and Valley.

Running for the Warriors were CJ Martinez, Alex France and Cortland Cassidy on the men's side and Braska Patterson on the women's. Each runner qualified for the marathon race at nationals as part of the NAIA Outdoor Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 25, 2019.
